Now this print is based upon an original piece I did for KERRANG! magazine issue number 70, June 1983, when I was the magazines’ art director. It was used as part of a Roger Waters feature, Roger had a few months earlier released his first solo album ‘The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking’. I remember that he had a 4 date UK tour coming up where during the first part of the show he was going to perform tracks from ‘A Saucer Full Of Secrets’, ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’, ‘Wish You Were Here’ ‘The Wall’ and ‘The Final Cut’ followed by a spectacular mixed media performance of ‘The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking’ during the second part.

I decided I wanted to incorporate something from every Pink Floyd album in the illustration, and hopefully I did, as well as the naked lady from the cover of ‘Pros And Cons’, I was very happy with the final piece but forgot all about it until 2020 when I discovered the original in one of my portfolios. I decided it would make a nice print so I had it scanned, made a few changes, cleaned it up and that’s about all I can tell you about it apart from blagging a signed copy of the album. RESULT!!
